Sager emailed me the new bios, and it does allow to disable the beep. You do need to be able to boot from floppy drive. Contact Sager for the bios.

Are you guys able to change the volume and channel with the remote for AVER Studio? I can only turn the laptop on and off. It seems some of us can do more than others with the remote.

I could not get it to run at first, but it worked after setting the bios to default values. Thanks Adam.

Computer will crash if you install the new 7.95 driver on the 4780. Omega drivers do the same thing. I have a feeling, the AGP issues on the 4780 were not completely resolved. If this is the case, I will regretfully have to send mine...

I am also curious to know whether the AGP problem was fixed or Sager decided to just set it at 4X and released the units. Adam, can u shed some light on this issue?

Do we need a bios update to turn off the Boot Beep on 4780? Or am I just no looking at the right places?
