I have the TSSTcorp DVD burner in my 7422, and I've "backed up" like 7-8 DVD's and "Backed up" 11-12 cds for a friend.

For $1,400 the 7422 is a good deal, at $1,250 your wondering if their pricing manager is doing crack because it's so cheap.

After you choose your core/mem press "set" then press "new" and name it whatever and in should save.

You don't have to hit apply. Set what you want the FID to be for Min, Max, and Auto and hit apply after you change the FID for that profile. Like for min set the FID to 4.0x for Minimum and maximum and hit apply. Then do Max set Min...
