is it possible to spec out a machine u want from dell, then return or cancel it when u get it then try and look out for it on the refurb/outlet section and pick it up for loads cheaper?

aparently it takes ages, my refurb 9200 is only going to be delivered on the 12th march, so it takes 11 days to get shipped! says pre-production, waiting for parts buts its a refurb so whats going on?

Anyone know the best way to extend the range of there wifi notebook? i saw some nice orinoco gold cards with external antennae connectors. anyone got a nice setup, with some photos maybe. cheers.
