I went with BestBuy... you can take it to any BestBuy.. and if they can't fix it they will send it in to be fixed as mentioned above... for me it was just a matter of convience I guess..

ok answered my own question power option properties/vaio powermanagement then changed it to max lit.. it was on no change... is there a way that this will change automatically when switching between power saving functions? or must I...

If you buy a notebook from somewhere like bestbuy, and request that they power it up before you buy it so you could check it out.. would they?
