do u have a router at home?
i reckon u probably have ur LAN card settings set on wake up...
u just have to turn off 2 settings for the LAN...
i went to www.realtek.com.tw and looked for the alc880 but version 1.19 had a bug whereby i couldn't choose the speakers type (it was stuck on headphone mode)
i reckon it might be that u might not have installed the intel inf drivers...
thats weird...
i had problems with sound stuttering when playing dvds.
i tried the version r1.19 of the realtek high def audio driver and that solved it...
i'm back on version 1.10 and so far no problems...
