Do a search for threads on a fan program called i8kfangui... You can specify at which temps the fans come on. Depending on your card, so it displays the correct temp, you will also need to put a temp offset value under the options portion.
If your still playing Warhead you should try some of the configs in the link below. Been testing them out with Crysis Wars multiplayer cause I need the fps but want it to look nice . They run pretty well and look...
Well you can click on my username and check out my previous posts but I will try and sum it up as best I can...Had 2 7900gtx go bad with vertical lines on boot (one on my brothers laptop)...got 2 7950gtx from ebay and one went bad...
It was actually on my brothers 1710 which has the same setup but have both had the 7900gtx crap out and now one 7950. I know that he does not overclock and after opening his system up it was pretty free of dust so I don't think heat...
Well luckily I had the old broken 7900gtx laying around to test with and switch out the 7950gtx. It appears that it must have been the video card because even with display corruption with the old 7900gtx I can still see and use windows....
