shop.kingston.com has memory for Dell 9300 and XPS Gen 2. They are for $300 for 1 stick (1 GB). You might find it cheaper elsewhere but atleast you can get the part number etc from kingston.

I agree with xjarhed. Go ahead and buy RAM from Dell (or get specs and shop elsewhere). You should still manage a 3K limit. But them depends if you need 2GB RAM..
