Sure enough, the disc is 5.13GB. Next question, all I saw on Newegg were SATA slimline drives, this thing in the device manager reads as ATA. (I assume its a IDE) Where to find...guess eBay. Hmmm. Thanks!
Hmmm, good question. No idea if the Sims 3 is DL. That said, other Sons S-1555 saw the disc just fine and installed the game. That is a 2yr newer laptop, but I don't know if it has DL capability. (I know my Desktop does)
