The 100GB Hard Drive is large, but is PATA like the one you already have, and will be slower than the one you own. I would suggest getting dual 80GB 5400 RPM SATA Hard Drives. They are faster than Dual 7200 RPM PATA Drives.

It sounds like your video card is bad. I would call them to either send you a replacement or get them to install it for you.
