Yes, this is possible (in XP at least). I have my touchpad jacked all the way up, and my logitech dual optical didn't change.
I would think there has to be a temp sensor, because my fans cycle usually when playing games. Can anyone confirm this? (I'm without until next week hopefully )
I think there's already been a thread about not being able to find a MBM temp sensor.
