I have that LG/HITACHI 4080n drive and I just flashed to new firmware I think I can burn to DVD-RAM and DL

I use an inverter from Officemax 100W continuous seems to work fine!

Ok PPL how long does it take to burn a FULL DVD disc??? Takes Me 13mins @ 8X! Anyones drive a little faster(LAPPY ONLY)?

yeah 1029 is a sweet deal!

Seagate is slower than Hitachi and more expensive too!

I heard only X1800 series will benefit from 5.11 drivers not older models!! So I'LL just upgrade when omegas come out.
