They are clearing stock plain and simple, new stuff is coming and old stuff has to go.
Put it this way, last time they wiped out all their notebook lines, except 1, and there wasn't much to pick from and they lost a lot of notebook customers in doing so. At least they are not doing that mistake again.
No it doesnt matter in this case, but for those reading this do the research no matter what. Proprietary adjustments meant for a certain resellers configuration may not work or even screw up someone elses configuration. Remember all bios are not the same for all Clevo distributors even if its the same model. That is why AW states that any DL of other than their releases will void warranties.
It doesnt matter if its a D900T or any other make. Any dl not approved...
Key words in link are "Clevo" and "allbios". Clevo made it for all "T"s. When "Eurocom" has a link under their support and you don't see it in the others thats when you do the research of that version. Don't assume that it will work on other resellers version of that computer.
That is exactly what is going around with the m17 bios fixes now. AW has a no tweaking cpu in theirs and Sager doesn't. People who download the Sager into the AW void warranty. You do it at...
Always check with the company releasing those bios. Clevo has been known to do "custom" bios for specific companies and those bios will only work for those machines. Proprietary customs can turn your machine into a functional brick so do the research.
Since this was done for the "T" which is no long being made, I would guess to say that this was the last bios for the "Eurocom" only. They have done similar customs for Sager as well so be warned.
Windows media files and Apple Quicktime should be used seperately. Windows is a hog comparted to Quicktime as far as media space (it uses more media space). It sounds like your swaping from one machine to the other using different programs to "burn" opposite codex is causing the problem. Use Mac for mac and Windows for Windows.
One program I use is mpgsteam clip. It can detangle your mess.
