The CPU clocks itself down when idle to reduce heat and save increase battery time. You should be able to use a program like SpeedswitchXP to do the job.

The Asus W3J is a 14" with a WXGA(1280x800, I think). You can't any higher resolutions on a 14" screen, then you have to go higher to a 15"+. All the other specs fit the Asus...

I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work. People have already reflashed their Go 7800 with a 7800GTX BIOS, so this shouldn't be any different.
