hi guys, i just got my laptop and tried some games. i noticed that games like NBA 2005 have short and fat people due to the widescreen thing. i also played doom3, halo and ut2004 but didn't notice the fat people problem, i wonder why....

i have a 6809, and when i run doom 3 with omega driver without any overclock, and it recommends the low setting, and only runs well in low or medium, is that normal?, since some people say they run at ultra high

what exactly does omega have that makes it better? and when your installing omega driver for a 6809, theres a fast write setting, should you install that or the normal one?, and also what does the multi res thing do? thx
