XP is pretty underwhelming at this point... I too vote for virtual mode.

Not every laptop purchased is used in the same way. I've had to purchase 7 laptops in a short period of time... just key in the lice# for office and its done. Saves me a ton of time as does not having to remove then install alternate...

It isnt anything more than an opinion writeup but some of the comparisons are weak or so agenda driven that they make no sense. Those scores are compared to what? Average to what? Desktops? Why did he buy this thing in the first...

Im very curious too... I think though that for encoding tasks there will not be much diff across brands when similar supported hardware is used.

Added some benchmarks but let me first comment on extended warranty options for Malaysian market... If you buy retail you CANNOT get extended warranty plans from the retailer. I knew this in advance but did not realize the price...

I never had trouble with my card but one thing I did was force fans on full time. Kept as cool as possible.
