Having the same problem. Anyone??
Please advise where to purchase & the current price? Thx.
That is the argument I'm going to use with Dell to get it right. Why can an older laptop have a superior display. I believe the sparkles/dust is caused by multiple coating as mentioned in previous posts.
I posted something similar and got 2 yesterday. Are the rest of the screens with sparkles/dust like the one I have?
Has anyone had any luck getting a sparkle/dust free replacement from Dell. If so please fill us in. Thanks...
You lucky dog. The light leakage has got better with my Samsung over time. It sparkles but not as bad the LG I replacement received the other day. Maybe I need to get another one sent out another 8 hours on the phone with dell..ugh.
Guess were all in the same boat. Sparkles/dust is are present from the various coating Dell used on the 9300/XPS screens. My 700m is sparkle free.. Wish the 9300 was the same..
Any lucky UWXGA owners out there without sparkles/dust what ever you want to call it? If so when did you get it and the brand of LCD.
Thanks for the info. I find the samsungs to be better in color in than the LG I got but need to check it out further. The sparkle/dust effect kind of reminds me of 3M reflective tape you see on runners or bikers clothing. I wonder when...
Tar Heel Guy, How are the sparkles on the screens you have received? Color & light leakage is not a major issue on the ones I have seen but the sparkles are killing me (2 samsungs & 1 LG)..
