I also doubt the 9300 bios is blocked in a way (it is definitely not a locked bios) that it would not support the ultra. The bios should detect the ultra and boot up. The only issue I can see is the fan speed controlled by the bios, but...

For all those "picky" people out there I just replaced my Dell wireless 1350 card with an Intel 2915 card. My battery life went from 3:20 to ~4:00 hours under the same settings. For me that is significant.
