found this at dell forum " I just recently saw the specs on the Inspiron 9100 and XPS. Honestly, both of them are just plain ugly but the specs are ok. Both are almost identical, XPS being better of the 2. 9100 is being targeted...

I wonder if the inspiron xps will be faster or atleast comparable to the 8790...coz i read somewhere that they r releasing this laptop to compete with the sagers and other higher end laptops. Anyone got any idea of the configs? Hopefully...

haha i dont think any power supply or extra batteries can help me through this one....i have to fly upwards of 24 hrs, if i have one of the 8790 with prescotts i bet it would suk up the whole power of the plane in tht much time

Hey i have been gaming on my 1ghz 32mb graphic card laptop for 2 yrs now!!! LOL but yea the newer games are no way able to run on it....so i think i would be waiting for the 8790..my first sager!!! hopefully i have a good experience...

WOW i wonder wht a 1gb cache would be like....lol j/k Well i am personally waiting for the prescott, i bet the 1mb of cache and the improved instructions and hyper threading would help.....i also plan to buy it around feb and...
