No it doesn't, but the firmware was claimed to work better with the new BIOS.

WoW, I hope we just need to update the BIOS in order for it to work!

The best way to achieve this is to update your keyboard firmware to the latest version and don't forget to update the BIOS to 1.00.04 as well. This way you can just press Fn+F2 to turn the fans to full throttle.
