What's better the X300 on the T43 or Geforce 6200 on a Tecra M3. I find that IBM's are price competitive with Toshiba but am wary of Toshiba quality. That being said get firewire with the Tecra too. What do you think?
Sometimes on a warranty repair, Dell will use refurbed parts. So the screen you get may actually be a defect to replace a defect. Not all parts are actually inspected or fixed once they are returned. I would return the whole machine.

Anyone done a comparison of the two or considered the M3 before going with the D610? Been rearching both and the M3 seems to be the better buy but want to hear your thoughts. Cannot see both notebooks in person so hard to conclude anything.
The problem with the bezel has to do with the hinges being too tight. Or snap it back in. Got a Toshiba that had the same problem only after the inverter got replaced. They fixed it by adjusting the hinges. Based on D610 design its similar.
