Last month I bought TM8104 and my bios version is 3C23 dated 04/26/05. I find it strange since on Acer's website the latest is 3C22... Does anyone also have 3C23 or know what improvements it brings over 3C22?

I had the exact same problem... after installing the unian drivers - it installed also ati tray tools and one of its options was to show fps. I disabled it and everything was fine again.

Could somebody tell me what PCMCIA controller is there in this laptop? Or maybe someone uses the Creative Audigy 2 ZS card with it and can tell if everything works fine? I consider buying this computer (or 8100 series - how is with it?)...
