I actually have gotten it to fit in my 6000. It didn't fit at first because the battery and shitty x300 were in the way, but after I took a chisel and a hammer and knocked off some of the board circuitry, it fit with a few taps from the hammer. Hope this helps.

I own a 9300 and I, too, do what planet-ed stated. I have the Belkin auxiliary powered USB 2 hub and it's nice having all my peripherals on my desk connectable with only 1 USB connection into my 9300. Makes me much more willing to move the 9300 around.
