no one has any suggestions? Guess I'll just have to wing it
Got a nw9440 coming tomorrow and I'm trying to gather all the info to start tuning it for gaming. I want to do some 3dmark before any changes, and after I update the drivers. What I'd like to know is what prep I'm going to need to...
I still come up dry. It mentions somewhere around 3000, but no idea if those are the default drivers and what clock/mem speeds he's using. Also don't know which statement (x800 or x1600) which is correct. Anybody done any testing...
Even with lower specs, the T60 is in a totally different class when it comes to quality. I would definatly go that route...

I'm considering one of these, but wondering if anyone has run the 3dmark05 on them to give me an idea if it will support any gaming.. You help would be greatly appreciated!!!
slot load DVD drive 100GB 7200RPM Drive 3yr warranty I think those are the only differences that added the extra cost.
Simalarlly configured Z76J is around 1866 from gentech. Is the screen on the laptop decent?
Anyone else have any input? Is it really hard to believe you could play games with a decent video card that has 256MB dedicated memory? Are the x1600 / 7600GS decent video cards?
