Does anyone know how Apple intends to make the transition in terms of sales? If they have X number of PPC-based Powerbooks in inventory on the day that they start selling Intel-based Powerbooks, will they still sell the PPC versions? ...

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. I'm sure I've read somewhere about how they're not all that easy to get into. Although I wasn't aware that you don't have to completely open the thing up to install RAM. Thanks for the info.
