Is the AW 400Mhz PC3200 RAM dual channel? It does not seem to say anything on their site, or am I missing something? reading the threads I gather only the sager 8890 has dual channel to date (Nov 17 2003)
I have heard the 8890 is big, but how big. Is it simply big and ugly, or is it relatively big compared to those small main stream notebooks. I have seen the new toshiba 17" in person, how does the sager 8890 compare to that in size. I must say though, its all the power that counts!

I am a little in the grey when it comes to Hard Drives. Does the speed of the drive only affect how fast data is loaded and trasfered or can it affect how your system performs when running a program. (i.e when gaming does the speed of the HD really matter). I ask for an 80 gig 4200 rpm is much cheaper than a 80 gig 5400 rpm. An what about heat. I heard the 7200 rpm drives can produce lots of heat.
Any information on hard drives would be greatr!
If I get a 80 gig 4200 RPM hard drive, will it affect gameplay at all? or any other operations? or does the hard drive speed only affect how fast you can access and transfer data. I have noticed there is a large price gap between 80 gig 4200 and 80 gig 5400. Could someone give me the low down on hard drives and there speed.
Im looking at a notebook with 3 Ghz P4, 1024 MB 400MHz Ram, 128 MB ATI 9600, etc.
