I'm working on my Daughters Laptop (Dell XPS M1330 w/ Vista) I replaced the H/D(with a Western Digital Scorpio Black) 2 1/2 months ago. Things were working great until 2 weeks ago. To make a long story short I'm getting error code 2000-0146 & from what I can find it says to remove & reseat the H/D. If that does not fix it then either the H/D or the mobo is bad. How can I tell if the new H/D went bad? AND if it's the mobo is it cost effective to fix?
