Thanks for the fast reply! Peace, Geo
jboehle, Where can I see that the 3 year warranty is included in the outlet price shown on the inventory screen? I see where they are offering a discount to upgrade from standard 1 yr. Just like to know as this may be enough for me...
Search the forums or internet for Memtest or another memory testing program. You may want to consider a clean install of your OS and drivers (in the order stated in the manual). Does Sandra report all your hardware correctly?
Search the internet. Start with Tomshardware, Anandtech, Hardocp and see if they have archived articles on the cards you are considering and/or video card guides..
If money is tight and the motherboard supports 800mhz processors you can get the 3.06 knowing you can upgrade later if necessary. Otherwise I would opt for the 800mz 3.2. Peace, Geostyce
What video drivers? Peace, Geostyce

Forget 5690 if you want full sized keyboard and num pad, if thats important to you, otherwise its a GREAT machine (happy 5680 owner)! Peace, Geostyce
Are other machines running on your network? Wired or Wireless? While it sounds like you have laptop specific issues you may want to confirm that your router is functioning properly. Try to connect directly to your cable/DSL/whatever...
Mine worked fine out of the box but I think I read a thread several months ago that talked about changing settings in the Synaptic TouchPad utility (check your system bar). Hopefully that will fix you up. Peace, Geostyce
