Honestly, if I had the choice between those 2 laptops I'd probably get an Apple one. Since you can dual boot you can pretty much play any game you want.

I honestly don't think anything will come out next month. Apple usually doesn't release stuff on the top of more stuff. They like their products to have their moment and when the buzz dies down is when a new product may be mentioned...

From what I've read they are great machines. It's just a matter of what she plans on doing with it since it doesn't have a few things you find in other notebooks.
