I run it on my PB and it's a bit laggy during heavy gfx area's, even with 128MB gfx card and 2GB of ram. Probably runs better using boot camp, but I've got the PB, not the MB or MBP
OC the acer wouldn't be the same as upclocking the card on the apple machine. OC would bring it past the cards default, while upclocking on the mac would bring it to the gfx cards default.
Probably will see the new PowerMac w/intel, so they'll probably have a new name. We might see some new cinema displays, maybe w/camera's. I've also been hearing a lot about new processors, so maybe they'll introduce the new processors...
as for salespeople, anyone is better than the guys at best buy...most don't know crap about the computers besides what the little info sheet has. Geek squad isn't much better either.
But also, WWDC is just around the corner (aug 7th), so I would hold off on any new purchases. While you may not get as good as a deal, you'll be getting the latest and greatest from apple.
I've heard that WoW runs better on Windows then it does on macs. I think since it isn't universal (or is it?), it'll run better on windows. But, w/boot camp you can use windows on your mac, yay!! I'm using a 128MB gfx on my PB and it...
