If the computer came without an operating system, 1-3 hours depending on how much I feel liek tweaking my OS install. If it comes with an operating system, add about 30 minuites to do a complete format of the hard drive.

Some devices just dont work together. My sager 4880 and my treo 650 just simply wont do dialup networking. The treo works with other computers, so I am pretty sure its the computer thats finicky.
