I got one of those booklets from dell with pricing info on the m1210. It starts from $1300 in the US. The listed confg. with 1.66 core duo, webcam, 7400 go, etc. was around $1500.

I would upgrade the memory. Also, consider an external DVD writer if you don't need to write DVDs on the go. They should be cheaper and faster.
