Widow PC has recently released details of their newest laptop, a dual-core, 11.3 pound beast fitted with AMD 4800 X2 and the new 7800 GTX GPU. At first, it appears to be a Clevo-based notebook that's been spiced up, but I'd be lying...

It's a pentium M design. Much less of a problem with overheating than with any previous processor. I wouldn't worry too much.

Don't buy a 360. They're hard to find anyway, and if you do get one, you'll just be pining for the Sony PS3 when it's released next year, which is going to be FAR more powerful than the 360 is. The graphics on the 360 will be obsolete...

6-7 months is centuries when you're talking about computers and aging. There is no chance that anyone could recommend something to you at this point in time for half a year down the road.

If you want to do some newer gaming, you can probably get a laptop for that price with a dedicated GPU. Just look around, and be sure to buy from a quality vendor.

Did the OP even specify a GPU in the original request? I dunno why she would need an X700 for class.
