Isn't the plug different on the A/C Power brick (The plug that goes into the laptop)? I coulda sworn they are different. If so, you'll need to modify a power brick and swap plugs or change the power socket on the laptop board.

It could just be the vid card. Cause I have 2 iXPS2 lappies. Even though they both score almost identical numbers in 3DMark05, one of the lappies gets about 10 FPS less in WoW with both lappies running the exact same configurations...

You sure you running on AC power as oppsed to battery power? Those FPS you getting in WoW is about what you'd get on battery power.

Any idea why the base price was put up to $2597? I wanted to get one for my wife also, but that new price is crazy.

What happened to the pricing on the M170? It's now at a base cost of $2597.00. That's over a $1000 price jump in a single day.

I think it's very nicely done. Very clean install.
