installed omega 4.7, i ran doom3 without freezing on medium quality 800x600 i think, but i still get some artifacts. i'm not sure what the difference was in the drivers. i think it might have to do with the d3d settings.

which model do you have?

8890 random lockups early when i used 4.95 and 4.97 drivers. i dont think i had a lock up when i was running at low quality, advanced options all off except vsync on, 640x480. maybe if i played longer with it would've locked up.
