Just to report: Battlefield 2 plays pretty well on an S360 using the CAT 5.6 drivers! I initially had to play @ 800x600 with everything on Low, but the frame rate was smooth (in-game FPS ranged between 40 - 75). It worked out so well...
Can't tell you anything about the FS570, but the S360 runs HL2 quite well. It runs HaloPC, Painkiller, and Doom 3 very well also. If you like to play games, the S360 is a good choice.
The notebook comes with one 512MB stick (it has room for two). It's not a proprietary memory chip. This one will work. Congratulations on your purchase!
The fan noise on my S360 is noticeable, although I wouldn't call it "loud" (as compared to a desktop PC). The fan speed (and noise) does ramp up and down quite frequently, so I could see how some would find this...
