Not from Edmonton but i have an idea for you. Go to your local flight school and buy the ground school manuals, local VFR maps, and some measuring tools.
Get some foot pedals if you are really serious.

I have noticed that EAX is sometimes a bit buggy on a few games. On Dungeon Siege 2, EAX made many weird panning effects. The sound was never where it was supposed to be. I love the card but it appears EAX is not all that well done in a few games. Maybe that is your problem.
In the literature for the card they state very plainly that the PCIMCIA card in full hardware mode will make the computer use less cpu time. It is supposed to hand off processing to the card CPU and make the computer CPU do less.
In practical terms it does not make that much difference.

Looks like it will match the XPS2 light show. Sweet! I know the lights are useless but it still looks cool. It will be cool to have a matching external drive to keep all the porn on.
