If your willing to wait a bit the new dell e1505 sounds right up your alley, it has a 15.4 inch widescreen, core duo processor, several choices of graphics cards, and basically is completely customizable.

I'm curious what led you to choose between these too laptops? Are you getting a special deal or something, mostly I'm just asking cause it seems like you'd wanna go for a core duo based laptop right now if price isn't an issue.
What leads you to the conclusion that 64 bit operating systems are more stable? I have never heard of anything like that before, only that they have some driver issues for some components. Not saying there is less stability, but...
Pretty weak review, some of the user reviews in the dell section are better . . . doesn't list software that is used to test . . . makes several grammatical errors . . . which battery did they even use for the life test?
