There were 3 17" WUXGA screen types for the Dell XPS and some other series. 2 LG ones, and one Samsung. Almost all of the first type of LG's were replaced for Samsung ones on customers...

SATA means Serial ATA. Its either SATA or PATA (parallel). They are the things through which the harddisk communicates with the rest of the computer. SATA (new) is much faster than PATA (old). BUT it might be so...
