hi everyone! have the travelmate 8104 for some weeks now and the only thing that really bothers me is the constant noise coming from the harddrive. it's an airy nearly fan-like, rather high pitched sound with occasional crackling....

just installed 3C19 and no problems yet - no impovements up to now either tough - i'll keep reporting.

i have a travelmate 8104 with pci-e and run cubase without problems... as much as the graphic card is concerned - i have th ati radeon x700 and i can reduce the pci-e pipelines from 16 to 1 using powerplay... i worked on a pentium 4...
... cecked and comfirmed... bios version 3c17 installed from the beginning...so maybe that biosupdate does the trick for some users with problems - hey - hope dies last
