I had the same problem, and found out that it was spyware. For anyone with this proble, I would get Hijack this, and see whats running. Thats what I did.
how much faster and cooler does it run?
I also have noticed that once in a while I will catch my finger on the edge of another key when I am pressing down in it. It happens enough to bother me once in a while.
I think that the Status History should be larger, or at least make it a smaller window, like 25 degree's to 75, or something to make it more readable. The older version was more readable, at least for a 96 DPI user. EDIT: Problem. ...
So, I know that newegg.com had the Transcend 1GB stick for around $125 shipped, but now I see thats up to $135 shiped. Who else (that is a known store) has it for cheeper?

Well I wouldnt think that it is the Intel Wireless Card issue, because it is able to connect, ping websites, and I can talk on AIM, so thats why I would guess its a software problem?
So I see that there is another thread about the internet being messed up for another person, but my circumstances are very different. I have a 9300 A/B/G card, and am using a wireless connection. Now I am never more that 50 feet...
I know that if you go to your hardware store, they have converters that will allow you to plug in something that needs a ground, but dosnt have one. Just look in the "plug" section.
