its not bad......i would've opted for less ram and a faster processor. I got mine for $1070 with the 1.86ghz, WSXGA, 40gb HDD, XP Pro, DVD R/W, and 512mb (i shoulda just gotten 256mb oh well)

So i formatted my new I6000D bc i put in a new 7k60 HDD. Well i reinstalled all the drivers but i cant figure out what this one is. It just says PCI Device. I installed the video, network card, wireless, sound, chipset, and touchpad...

i think the one i ordered is a 40gb 5400rpm.....i didn't think the i6000 came with a 4200 drive, but my bet is its the 5400. Either way i'm swapping it for my 7k60
