I had the same problem before, the problem went away after I fixed the AP's communication channel to "11" instead of "AUTO".

I've been hearing that CHC is a great program but the distorted screen on my W3V made me hestitated to adopt it. Any idea how I can fix it?

I'm in the same boat, my notebook is a W3V and its wireless (Intel 2200BG) will start off well, then diminished to very slow speed in 5 to 10 minutes !!!
