i had the same problem with rainbowsix-3 raven shield in my mac but ghost recon and all other games ran ok,,,the only thing i figured out was to keep graphics down on game settings and i would boot from d;drive, just to play the game...

oh sorry bout that man, yeah it turns off by itself,,,,the thing that gets me is that, it could go days ok, but other days it turns off even after i just log on, or i could used the net for hours but after trying to change...
