if it's turned off it wont hurt your files. I think if you put it back in and fdisk it and format it it should work. I had the same problem. once I did that,win saw it and I had win format again in ntfs after booting into windows..

you need to f-disk it and format it.

fangui is a very good program and I have been using it since it came out on my laptops and I haven't fried ANYTHING.

the artic siver 5 is very good stuff and I use it all the time but if something goes wrong with your cpu and dell finds you put silver 5 on it you might be on the void list.
