No dude.. sorry. You could try setting it at the lowest multiplier, and lowest voltage for that multiplier. That SHOULD lower your cpu temp, and so shut the fans off... I'm gonna look around anyways though, see if I come across...
I probably should have been more specific. When I'm running on minimal settings (FID:4.0x, VID:0.800v) is when the fans kick in at 50 celsius. But then again.. I think there are other sensors that are triggered for the fans to kick in....
Wow.. I would have thought the undervolting trick would have slowed them down at least. Has the cpu temperature gone down since you undervolted? You can use Asus Probe, you can get it from the asus website, to check temp and fan...
I've seen it, just haven't read it. Just way too long, and don't have a P-M so... yea.
I originally got laptop logic's link from these forums.

Ah, and so the original source of the undervolting method is revealed.
Was it ever a mistery..?
And don't know, haven't read any guides don the P-M. Perhaps you could enlighten us.
vinch, in theory, it should be the same for the P4.. Don't know though, only have this to work with so..
joybugoy, as far as I can tell no. Clock speed is FSB x Multiplier(FID), so voltage should not affect the end performance. If...
We'll I don't exactly know how to get precise measurements on battery life, but here are some using Window's estimated time left for the battery for my machine.
Normal (before tweaks): 1h 30min
Tweaked
Maximal: light usage 1h...
No no, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!!!
I'm so excited about this, I just wrote my first guide
