Hmm happened tonight for the first time for me. I just unplugged the AC from the notebook and powered on with the battery and worked fine .

Love it, sorta concerned with some temps I've seen while playing GW though. Idle 37-40, Load 49-65?

This is my first notebook, but I think the noise level is more than acceptable. I agree however the mouse is a little choppy, but I've gotten use to it in just 2 days.

Check temps in bios if you haven't already. I'd upgrade the power supply if you've got the cash though.

Is your heatsink on correctly? 100 degrees celcius is like melting point (not literally). That is probaly the #1 reason why it's shutting off.
