Yeah, been happening to me too when loading things, particularly bf2 and far cry. If the thing is defective and they're going to replace it, would they maybe let you pay the difference and get a 7800?
One map with a tech-tweak, 40? I doubt it. That's how much basic hl2 is listed as. I see where it says it, but I'm guessing that's probably a mistake. Valve is muddled and disorganized, not nasty.
You can use a coupon over the phone if you make your order online first, and then have the guy on the phone import it. Don't know about the lower prices though.
