@srw101: Thank You! I just followed your pictured instructions, took out my Keyboard. Placed it in warm distilled water for about 20 minutes, then blow dried it and put it in the oven for about 45 minutes @40°Celsius. sounds crazy but...

Hi, could you please describe how you took apart your 8104. I've spilled an energy drink over my keyboard, now a few keys are stuck. Or is there anywhere a step-by-step instruction available on the web? I don't know how to dismantle...
It seems they need a driver. Since my reinstallation from scratch, they doesn't work anymore. But that doesn`t bothers me, in fact the buttons bothered me alot HypheN
Called Acer Support Europe today, they told me that it has something to do with the battery charging board (they guessed)....cause it comes up if ac adapter is plugged in. They offered me to send my laptop in so they could fix...
I also have this sound issue.... As soon as I plug in the AC Adapter this noise comes up.........grrr it´s definitely not the cd-dvd drive. If anyone got a solution for that, please let me know. HypheN

hmm my 8104 is from germany too, but I have the 3c11 version like all the other people around..... EDIT: If anyone finds a changelog on that bios revision, please let us know
