I've been using a Gigabyte GN-WI06N for a while after testing numerous cards and it's my fave. Always rock solid, good support under Win 7 and seems to work best with my D-Link DIR-655 router.

I had a Matshita Blu Ray in my I9300 up until yesterday when I put my old NEC back in. I can't comment on performance because I never really used Blu Ray on it (just had the extra drive laying around). My M1710 is my entertainment machine.

I've been using my M1710 without incident for the past 1.5 years. I love it. Sorry for all your bad luck.

AS isn't too pricey (I score it from eBay). I've been using the same small syringe of AS for several years now. I don't feel it's a waste of money at all. A little dab will do ya.

I've always had great experiences with Vantec enclosures of all shapes and sizes.
