Bleh, battery warranty expired so no-go on the RMA. If the battery cells is the only problem, then I will just gut the battery, and replace the cells with my own. Hopefully it will work, but has anyone ever tried it yet?

Well, back again. Now this battery (already recalled) started to crap out (LED will not go out, stuck at 100% charging, etc). I suppose I can still exchange it?

Evenever I move files on or off the memory stick, it will use 100% of the cpu usage, and its transfer speed is linked to how much the cpu is it using (random pauses, etc.). Doing work while transfering files is a very annoying problem....

Why not get an external slim drive enclosure, and shove the existing dvd drive into it?

Z71V doesnt have Intel Video. Unless someone can prove me wrong! =P

For me Hibernation > standby. Hibernation, owkrs perfectly, but after 3 standbys, the Fn display program will crash, but I can rerun it, and it will work fine. Standby, garbles screen.
